Each series consists of six
weeks of racing.

Racing takes
place in New York Harbor between
Lower Manhattan and The Statue Of
Liberty. Results of each days racing
are compiled into standings and
trophies are awarded at the end
of each series. Teams must be at
the dock by 6:00 p.m. to rig the
boat and be out at the starting
line by 6:15 p.m. After returning
to the dock teams meet in the True North
Sailing Clubhouse to watch videos
of the days racing and relax with
a beverage.
The Boats
The True North Sailing School provides
each team with a completely outfitted
J/24 sailboat. The J/24 is one of
the most popular one-design keelboats
in the world. It offers high performance
and excellent stability in all conditions.
The boats are equipped with main,
jib, genoa, 6-hp outboard engine
and all necessary safety gear.
Cost and Discounts
The entry fee for the corporate
racing program is $3,800 per series.
This includes boats, sails and trophies.
Each team must also purchase a spinnaker
inlaid with their corporate logo.
Spinnakers range from $1,500 to
$2,000 depending on the complexity
of the logo.
